Momo's Tuesday Challenge!!

Hello to all!! Hope everyone is having a great week!! It is Hello Thursday today.....my favorite day of the month. Momo's Challenge for Tuesday was to make something with a Turkey. So here it goes.....I made these napkin ring's for the Thanksgiving Day table. Very simple project....I used the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge and cut Turkey's at 3.5 inches. I added some stickles and used Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink to ink the edges. I added a ribbon to the back with Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue which has held the ribbon in place very well even after tying around the napkin. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful safe Thanksgiving!!

Emma's Imagine Nation Monday Challenge!!

Hi Everyone and I hope you are having a wonderful week!! Today I made a card for Emma's challenge....add button's to your imagine project. This is a 5 x 7 card  which I used Paper Doll Dress Up regular cartridge for Santa cut at 3.5 inches and his bag cut at 1.5 inches. I wanted Santa to look really old fashion so I choose paper from the Imagine Best Friend's cart for Santa and Imagine More cart for his bag. I also inked everything with Tim Holtz Distress Ink vintage photo and used a little grey chalk to highlight his beard. The tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cut at 2 inches with a hand written wish.  Also added some scrapper's floss around his boots and to buttons. (I only had green so I distressed it with the Tim Holtz vintage photo ink) The snowflake background paper is from Cloud Nine Design Seasonal Paper Pad. The crochet trim (Victoria) is from Stampin' Up. Hope you enjoy!!!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge!!

Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoy! I came across  Momo's blog a few week's ago and decided to enter this card into her challenge. Love her blog by the way!! The challenge was to make something with any type of embossing. So here it goes made this cute card with my Expression using the 3 Birds on Parade and Tags Bags Boxes and More cartridge. I cut the bird at 3.5 inches and the little tag at 1.5 inches. I used a 4 x 6 card. I took a piece of green paper and embossed it with the cuttlebug snowflake folder then took a tad lighter piece of green paper and used the Martha Stewart snowflake punch for a border on the bottom of the card. Also inked all pieces with Tim Holtz Ink's vintage photo and broken china. Added some stickles on the ear muffs and package and some gems to the background paper. I also took one of the punched snowflakes and added stickles and added it to the tag with a hand written Happy Holiday's message.

Imagine Warm Wishes Card

Good Morning Everyone!!! I made this card using pattern paper and solid from the Imagine More cartridge and the regular Simply Charmed cartridge for the Hat, Glove and Title. The Hat and Glove are cut at 3 inches and the title at 1 inch. The patterned paper on the Hat, Glove and Title are from IM cartridge and the solid colors of the three are also. I also printed the card from one of the solid paper's on the cart. on a 8.5 x 11 inch paper and cut it down so it would be a 5 x 7 card. Light Blue paper I had and used the Martha Stewart snowflake punch on it and then took the punched snowflakes, glittered them with MS glitter added a gem to the middle and scattered them on the card. Added some stickles and a ribbon and I was done. Hope you enjoy!!!  Warm Wishes to you!!!

First Post!

Welcome to my blog! I have finally jumped into the blogosphere and have been wanting to for awhile. I have been following Tammy's blog Creative Critterz Imaginations since she launched it for the new Cricut Imagine. I finally broke down and ordered the Imagine during the HSN launch. Sadly I had to return it and am now waiting for a new one to be on it's way. My Imagine was being stubborn and not cutting everything I wanted it to. I must say customer service at Provocraft was awesome and took me through 4 troubleshooting step's but nothing worked, they said it was probably a bad sensor under the blade housing and to send it back to them or HSN. I did manage to get a few cut's out of it and made a few card's with them which I will post later  today or tomorrow. Thank's for stopping by!!
